A beautiful Peacock
walking the grounds and watching the horses.
This goose seemed
to keep a comfortable distance but a keen eye on me during my
visit.
Mom and Pop
Turkey were very friendly towards us and each other. We got to
see a mating from a distance while we looked over the Hillside
Flight. They also came to the fence allowing for the "beautiful?"
detail head shots below.
Profile of the
male Turkey and then his beautiful mate, the female Turkey. I
took a few more of the male since he was so cooperative at posing,
a head only a Mother could love.
A few goats roamed
the fealds.
Horses also
enjoyed the sunlight and the pastures. This mare and 6 week old
foal caught my eye for some photos. I wonder what they think
of all the birds.
The photos above
show a Jack Russel Terrier resting by the large pond on the property.
This pond reaches 9 feet deep and has large Koi, Bass, Water
Hyacinths and Lilys. Water could also be siphoned from this pond
to feed the pools in the Hillside Flights. Also shown is a smaller
catch pond in the pasture for the Turkeys, Goats and other fowl.
