I am currently a member of the Canadian Dove Association. This fine organization is established to "Propagate To Prevent Extinction." As a member you will receive: A quarterly newsletter full of events and information on doves, both domestic and foreign. A Hand Book listing Indexes of Dove Names (Scientific, Common and Alternate), a Ring Neck Dove Standard, the Constitution & By-Laws, an Egg Hatching Timetable and listing of Leg Band Sizes. And the current Membership List & Dove Census.

 

I have enjoyed the membership and feel the information I receive is invaluable to bettering my dove keeping. I refer to and use the Membership List & Dove Census often. The contacts provided here have proven tremendous in support and adding to my understanding of doves. I especially like the way the members are polled each year as to the types, sexes and numbers of doves that they have at a particular time and the information is compiled and published.
